Civils & Infrastructure
Global Project Services has worked extensively across major civil infrastructure, utility and energy projects for over two decades. With extensive operating experience on campaigns across Piling Welding Services through to Pipeline Welding on National Grid and major utility works, we have a rich history working on both new-build tunnel and bridge works.
Our trusted, vetted, direct labour carry Safety Critical Medicals and CSCS cards as standard. Owing to our works across Civil/Utility and Industrial environments, we routinely provide welding & fitting teams that also carry EUSR/SHEA water cards, right-to-work plus IPAF tickets for self-operating of MEWPs. In addition, for rail-side and airside works, we can provide teams with permits and track cards on request.
Nuclear
Global Project Services has a long track record of delivering Nuclear Construction, Outage, and Decommissioning scopes to the UK market. We have worked extensively on Offsite Pre-fabrication and Onsite Installation works including for the ongoing construction of Hinkley Point C.
Our specialist welding and mechanical crews carry BPSS/SC/CTC clearance and can mobilise at short notice with full welding and mechanical equipment spreads supplied by Global Project Services per client demand.
Oil & Gas
The Global Project Services leadership and field services team has vast experience in offshore construction, MMO and Decommissioning works, delivering hundreds of successful projects across the UK and Scandinavia. We have also worked extensively on Hook-Up Construction, Brownfield Maintenance Scopes, Hook-Down Operations and various minor and major offshore welding scopes across a variety of structural and piping scopes.
Additionally, we regularly support valued clients with yard pre-assemblies through to offshore construction on hook up of modules.
Utilities
Global Project Services has vast experience working in top tier COMAH facilities and in highly regulated markets. Annually, we work on utility works ranging from Pipeline Construction and Modification for water and gas mains works through to Installation of Balance of Plant and Piping systems on utility plants such as water treatment facilities - as well as on energy-from-waste plants, CHP and co-generation power plants.
We provide clients with a range of new-build Construction, Emergency Outage, Planned Maintenance and 24/7 call-out support across the UK. We also support installs of Insulated Piping, Water Piping and Distribution Piping through to Full Commissioning of OEM and Balance of Plant Packages across sectors. Additionally, we work within the heavy industries and commercial construction sectors on similar process packages.
Shipyard
For many years Global Project Services has provided expert Welding & Mechanical teams onto Vessel and Rig new-build, Drydock, Refit and Decommissioning campaigns. Our teams also work across major Structural Assembly, Cutting, Burning and Disassembly works on client facilities in the UK, Norway and mainland Europe. During shipyard construction scopes, our multi-disciplinary mechanical teams work on scopes as diverse as the Installation and Commissioning of Fire Doors and Water/MIST Fire Suppression Systems through to Welding and Commissioning of Exhaust Systems and Flare Stack Repairs.
Global Project Services are similarly well placed to support an array of structural, piping and mechanical yard requirements, both on turnkey defined price scopes of work or on day-rate hired in basis.
Defence
Global Project Services is experienced in delivering high quality Construction and Retrofit Welding & Mechanical Works for vital MOD Defence Projects and mission critical, high-integrity Piping Package Installation and Commissioning Works, and Structural Steelwork Installations and Modifications for both the UK submarine and warship fleet.
Carrying BPSS/SC cleared personnel, our field services team can also offer On-voyage Repair Support and Support Vessel Refit and Drydocking campaigns in the UK - and worldwide.
Pharma
Since the early 2000s Global Project Services has worked on a range of Pharmaceutical and Semiconductor Plant Clean Room Works delivering high-integrity welding and outfitting works. We have delivered hundreds of manual and semi-mechanised welding and fitting projects for blue-chip contractors on projects across the Republic of Ireland, UK, Scandinavia and Germany, installing thousands of welds to exceptionally low and zero welding repair rates.
Global Project Services is experienced in working across multi-grades and multi-diameter pipework, working on small bore through to ultra heavy wall piping scopes and can work across manual and orbital welding scopes.
